A decade of open Days has started at the facilities of the Volga sports Academy. Recruitment to health groups and sports schools located at the facilities owned by the University continues. More than 100 trainers-instructors this year conduct a set of young Champions in 20 sports, but places remains less. 
For the first time this year, children will be able to test their sports opportunities within the open days. This procedure is offered by the staff of the University research center not only to kids, but also to those who are already involved in sports in health groups.
"The health of novice athletes, the potential of juniors and the training of sports reserve are our key tasks, – says the Director of the scientific center of the Volga Academy of sports, Professor, doctor of medical Sciences Radik Yakupov. – Our capabilities allow today not only to quickly analyze the state of muscle load, cardiovascular system of the child and the speed of his reaction, but also to accompany the development of the novice athlete throughout the period of his training. Achieving maximum results is the job of coaches, but maintaining the health of future Champions is one of the necessary components of success."
During the open Days testing will be free. Parents waiting for a small lecture from the staff of the research center. Here they will be able to record their potential Champions for testing in the research center at a convenient time.
Schedule of open Days:
August 29th. 17: 00-water sports Palace (swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, Boxing, chess, Taekwondo, dance sport).
August 30th. 12: 00-rowing sports Center (swimming, rowing).
August 31st. 17: 00-training and sports complex "Burevestnik" (swimming, synchronized swimming, football).          
September 2nd. 10:00 – the Kazan Academy of tennis (tennis), Badminton Center (badminton);   
September 8th. 10:00 – gymnastics Centre (artistic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, acrobatics, acrobatic rock-n-roll);
September 8th. 10: 00-ice Palace "Zilant" (ice hockey, figure skating).
