The graduate of the Volga region Academy Svetlana Lipatova (weight category to 59 kg) won a bronze medal in the championship of Russia in wrestling in Smolensk. Losing in the quarterfinals Veronika Chumikova from Chuvashia, Lipatova in the consolation final defeated another graduate of the Volga Academy and representative of Tatarstan Dakhiya Chinkin.
