A student of the Volga region Academy, swimmer Grigoriy Tarasevich in the Russian national team became the silver medalist of the European Championships in water sports in Glasgow, in a mixed combined relay 4x100 meters. The British won the relay with a record of Europe-3: 40: 18.
Recall that in qualifying, the Russian team has issued an exit to the finals, finishing in his third swim, in such a composition Grigoriy Tarasevich, Ilya Khomenko, Victoriya Andreeva and Mariya Kameneva. Tarasevich floated first and won his stage of the relay. The coaching staff put up a completely renewed team for the final. Tarasevich replaced the main opening of Glasgow-2018 Kliment Kolesnikov. Together with him at the start came Svetlana Chimrova, Juliya Efimova and Vladimir Morozov. However, the participants of the preliminary swim also won silver medals.
