Associate Professor of the theory and methods of gymnastics and wrestling of the Volga region Academy Liliya Konovalova became the winner of the annual intra-University competition of electronic educational and methodical complexes accompanying the study of academic disciplines. Her electronic course "Modern problems of Sciences of physical culture and sport"was recognized as the best. The second award for this course was given to Liliya Konovalova in the nomination "the Best electronic educational and methodical complex of sports discipline".
Among those whose work was also marked by the jury of the teacher of chair of foreign languages and linguistics Valeriya Taganyuk (2nd place, the course "English for sport volunteers"), two teachers of the Department of socio-economic disciplines - Aygyul Khuramshina (3rd place, the course "Documentary maintenance personnel management") and Yuliya Paygunova (4th place, course on "the Psychological practical work") and lecturer of the Department of theory and methodology of sports games Ekaterina Nevmerzhitskaya (5th place, theory and methodology of chosen sport: volleyball).

"My debut in this competition took place in 2015. Then I became only the fifth in the top ten participants, - Liliya Konovalova comments. - I worked for the first year, did not have a complete understanding of the electronic tools introduced in the Academy. And then the fifth seemed to me a good result. This time, when preparing the course, I took into account all the nuances. However, I annually process and improve my courses for each new academic year. I now have 13 of them-as much as academic disciplines. Each of them is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, for legitimate reasons for long periods of time missing in the classroom could acquire the necessary knowledge "on distance". Therefore, in addition to lectures and a list of literature, I always include electronic articles and textbooks. The winning course is special. The discipline is mainly theoretical, and of the 33 competencies that masters must form in two years of study, 28 falls on it! It is impossible, given the number of hours allocated for the study of the course, to master it without self-study".

The award for winning the competition is 10 thousand rubles. But, according to Liliya Konovalova, money in this case is not the main motivator.
"The competition creates a competitive environment that is necessary for teachers who want to improve themselves," continues Liliya Aleksandrovna. - Many of the teachers of the Academy in the past athletes, and therefore the person competitive, gambling. In addition, the competition provides an opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues, to see the strengths and weaknesses of their methodological work, to discuss practical issues of teaching. You present your material to your colleagues, you evaluate their courses. There is an exchange of experience and even small discoveries! I personally found a very interesting option in the work of my colleague this time, which I will definitely use in the future."
