In Smolensk, the all-Russian summer Universiade athletes finished their starts. The team of the Volga region Academy of sports took the fourth team place. Bronze awards from Kirill Dyatlov (3000 meters/n), Sofia Miroshnichenko (high jump) and Anastasia Surova (pole vault). Just three awards – two silver medals at distances of 200m and in the 4x100m relay and bronze in the sprint in a personal program brought in the team standings Artyom Araslanov.
