Students of the Volga sports Academy went to the international children's center "Artek" to work as trainers with the best pupils of children's tennis schools of Russia. Special shifts for promising young tennis players in Artek with the participation of students of the Volga region Academy are held for the second year in the framework of a joint project with the Russian tennis Federation. The invitation of students to the summer camp to work as coaches is an initiative of the former head of the Department of tennis, and now the Executive Director of the Moscow "Tennis Park" Olga Zhikhareva. For "academicians" it is an opportunity to gain practical coaching experience. Last year, students Azaliya Fazylova and Aigul Fatihova visited Artek. In it in the Crimea landed even more impressive landing. Ksenia Isayeva and Nadezhda Stepanova worked at Artek in June, Karina Goryacheva, Andrey Popov and Azaliya Fazylova - in July. In August, they will be joined as a senior coach by a graduate of the Academy, and now a teacher of the Department of theory and methodology of tennis and badminton at the sports University Ivan Ilchenko. A trip to Artek for students is a happy opportunity to combine practice (and paid, plus meals and flights at the expense of the host) and rest on the sea. Of course, there are more people wishing than vacancies. Therefore, only those who have the best performance in training and sports activities were able to go. In Crimea, they will find a difficult job: to train tennis players from 9 to 17 years, have already achieved serious progress in development and have shown good results during the year. Among the wards and juniors under 13 years old, included in the first 30-ku of the Russian rating. So, practice trainees will, in particular, and in the teaching profession. In total, up to 800 young tennis players will visit Artek this summer as part of the project. In Artek, students-trainees work under the direction of the Director of Tennis Park Galina Kaplan and the capital's coach Natalia Ferapontova. Schedule tough is a daily training for tennis and physical training. But there is also time for cultural recreation, students with children go on excursions and participate in the activities of the camp. And Aigul Fatihova from last year's trip to "Artek" left a memory of more than a significant souvenir - a photo with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
