A ticket to Glasgow for the European Championships in water sports was won by a student of the Volga region Academy Kirill Belyaev, finishing third in the distance of 10 kilometers at the Russian open water swimming championship. The championship takes place on the black sea coast in the village of Sukko near Anapa. The swim for 10 kilometers opened the competition program. A pupil of the Rybinsk swimming school, Kirill Belyaev led the race for most of the distance. In a hot fight for medals at the finish line at the expense went for a split second. Cyril got "bronze", which he won,winning touch from the Udmurt athlete Sergei Bolshakov (1:56.46,93 against 1:56.46, 96), the press service of the swimming Federation of the Russian Federation. On the highest step of the podium went to Kirill Abrosimov (1:56.37,63), the second was Eugene Arattsev (1:56.40,12). Cyril's result allowed him to qualify for the CHE, which will be held in Glasgow in August.
