This week two events organized by the Department of sports management, recreation and sports tourism were held in the Volga region Academy. On Wednesday, June 6 at one of the facilities of the Academy, in the center of beach sports, students and teachers had fun, celebrating the day of the sports Manager. And the next day in the educational and laboratory complex passed to a serious conversation within the IV all-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation "Problems and innovations of sports management, recreation and sports and health tourism".
Day of the sports Manager on the beach was traditionally prepared by the students of the second and third year of the profile "sports management", for whom it is not just a holiday hassle, but, a kind of "production practice", for the assimilation of theoretical knowledge.
This year the program of the festival consisted of two blocks – sports, cultural and scientific. Sports block or "sandbox Games" (which were invented and organized by the students of the 2nd year, group 6215) included competitions in beach football, volleyball and a demonstration match in beach handball. The competition was attended not only by "academicians", but also by guests - students of Kazan Federal University and Kazan state energy University.  Within the framework of the" games in the sandbox", the final games of the "Spartakiad of the hostel houses of the Volga Academy" were held. At the end of the ceremony, the winners and prize-winners of the Games were awarded. The results are as follows: the 30th house resigned from the champion, the owner of the Cup of the season 2017/18 became the 27th house. The trophy was presented by the winners of the teacher-psychologist of the house № 30 Yulia Tokranova. Well, the prizes to the participants of the competitions held within the day of the sports Manager were presented by the head of the Association of beach sports of RT Bulat Nurmukhametov.
In the program of cultural and scientific unit of the celebration of sport managers called the "Battle of competences" was also prepared by the students of the 3rd course (group 5215), the intellectual battle on "Youth politics and sports should be separated". The team of masters and the team of graduates of the 4th course (group 4212) were measured by intelligence. Graduates won. And the freshmen on this day, waiting for the "rite of passage" in the sports managers in the form of a quest.  
 At the end of the holiday there was a small sports and music show with demonstration performances of Tatarstan skaters and judoists. The Duo of laureate of the festival "Gimli lang" festival of friendship of peoples, the End of Ahmetgalievoy and Alexander Lokalova performed the song "We're a team". And the highlight of the program was the dance battle of first-year students (group 7215) and graduates of the Academy (group 4212).

Associate Professor of sports management, recreation and sports tourism Marina Savosina summed up the event:
- Not everyone is satisfied, as it usually happens. After all, the day of the sports Manager - for the students responsible for its organization, this is not a reason to have fun. This is part of the training process, for the job will be exposed to the same assessment. My task, as a teacher, is to get the current students out of the walls of the University ready to start working here and now, and not to study the profession for another 10 years. And such events-the best way to consolidate the theoretical knowledge in practice. For the sports part of the holiday were responsible second – year students, for cultural-the third. The requirements I've set high, the terms of timing was raised hard. As a result, I have something to tell students at the upcoming analysis of flights. For example, in terms of coordination of actions, equal participation in the work of all team members.  
Well, the next day many of the participants of the beach day of managers could be seen in the meeting room of the Scientific Council at the plenary session of the scientific-practical conference "Problems and innovations of sports management, recreation and sports and health tourism", and then in the audience during the work of the sections.
Head of the Department of sports management, recreation and sports tourism Galina Golubeva summed up the conference:
 I'm very pleased First of all, I want to note the speech of the head of the methodological Department for the Volga Federal district of the Federal center for training of sports reserve Elena Ponomareva, thanks to which we have received the latest information on changes in the legislation in the system of training of sports reserve. Vadim Yangirov introduced the students to the mechanism of public-private partnership, laid out on components for students-future managers-technology training and organization of major sports events with the involvement of public and private funding. Very interesting for future specialists in our field was the speech of the Manager of the Department of sports program of ANO "Directorate of sports and social projects", a graduate of our University Naila yanysheva Yanyshev, who spoke about the latest ideas of using new technologies in sports marketing. No less intense and interesting were the meetings within the scientific sections. In particular, in one of the reports, an attempt was made to introduce standards in the field of fitness industry, which is not yet covered by state regulation. I am sure that everyone who attended the conference learned something new and useful. Well, for those who regret that could not or did not have time to listen to the report on the topic of interest, soon the Academy will be posted a collection with all the reports.
