At the end of the last week at one of the objects of the Volga Academy - in the sports training center of gymnastics was held a traditional championship in gymnastics among first-year students of sports and physical culture.
The annual holding of such a tournament among first-year students has become a tradition in the Volga region Academy, because gymnastics is one of the basic disciplines, the skills of which should have a real specialist in the field of physical culture and sports.
This year the program of competitions of men included the following types of all-around: floor exercises, horse (Mahi), rings, support jump, parallel bars, crossbar. Women competed on vault and floor exercise, uneven bars and balance beam.
All participants performed the program of the third category of category"B".
In the team competition among the participants of the faculty of sports the winners were sports gymnasts (group 71101), second place among gymnasts-artists (group 71101) and honorable third place was taken by skiers (group 711015). Among the students of the faculty of physical culture, the winners were sports managers (group 7215), silver awards were received by representatives of the group of physical education (group 7211).
In the individual all-around among girls the best was Anastasia Malovichko (group 71101), second place was taken by Valery Leontiev (group 7211), the third – Alain Bakirova (group 7215).
In the personal all-around the young man became the leader Arthur Kuzmin Arthur (group 7215), "silver" went to Sergei Shaykhutdinov (group 71101), "bronze" - Karim Badrutdinov (group 71106).
