The Russian Academy of Education held a general meeting of participants, which was attended by leading scientists working in the field of pedagogy, psychology and age physiology. The meeting included the election of RAE members: vice-presidents, academicians and corresponding members.
Rector of Povolzhsky University Rafis Burganov was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education.
"Today, it is more important than ever that the education system develops based on rich domestic traditions of education and upbringing, on advanced scientific research. I am confident that our colleagues who have become members of the Academy will make a significant contribution to the development of the Russian Academy of Education and will continue to work for the benefit of Russian education together with us," noted Olga Vasilyeva, President of the Russian Academy of Education.
